Terms of Service
Last updated October 24, 2026
These terms are between you and minimaple ("we", "us"), who make Kumiki and Kigumi. They cover the website at kumiki.build and the online services behind the Kigumi app: the Kigumi account and the credit its built-in agent uses. By using them you agree to these terms. Questions: minimapletinytools@gmail.com.
The software
Kumiki and Kigumi are open source, under the Mozilla Public License 2.0. That license, not these terms, governs your use of the software itself. These terms cover only the online services.
Your account
- An account is for one person. Keep your sign-in secure; you're responsible for what's done with your account.
- You must be at least 13, and old enough where you live to agree to these terms.
- We may suspend or close accounts used against these terms, or to protect the service and other people.
Credit
- New accounts get some free credit, which the built-in agent spends on AI model requests. What a request costs depends on the model and how much it sends and receives. The app shows each turn's cost and your balance.
- Credit has no cash value. It can't be exchanged for money or moved to another account. We may change how much free credit there is, which models are offered, prices and limits.
- Credit can't currently be bought. If that changes, purchases will come with their own terms.
Acceptable use
Don't use the services to:
- break the law, or harm or harass anyone;
- get around credit, rate or other limits, or probe, overload or attack the service;
- resell or share access to the agent or the models behind it;
- go against the usage policies of the AI model providers, which apply to the requests sent to them, for example those of OpenRouter.
Your work
Your projects, designs and files are yours. You give us only the permission needed to carry the agent's requests to the model and return its answers. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to them.
AI output, and building things
The agent's answers and edits can be wrong. Check them. Kumiki and Kigumi help you design timber frames, but they don't check that a design is structurally sound, safe or up to building codes, and nothing they produce is an engineering review. Before you build anything people will rely on, have it checked by a qualified engineer or builder.
No warranty
The services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including that they will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. We may change, pause or end them at any time.
Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or work, arising from your use of the services. Our total liability for any claim about the services is limited to the greater of what you paid us for them in the twelve months before the claim and US$10.
Ending
You can stop using the services at any time. We may end your access if you break these terms. The sections on your work, AI output, no warranty and limitation of liability continue after that.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here and change the date at the top, and tell account holders by email about significant changes. Using the services after a change means you accept it.
